Question by Goldielox: What are some ideas for creating money at a bar if my business is throwing the get together there?
My business is making an attempt to host a Halloween Party at a Neighborhood Bar. We are gaurenteed to have at the very least 30 members if not more to come previously. Other than making a percent off of the door or the revenue at the bar, what are some other tips for my business to make some funds off of the offer? Also, what is a good or decent % to get off of the cover and /or bar? All input is appreciated. Thanks

Ask your members to donate a gift basket (liquor, Christmas theme, childrens books, etc) and then at the party they can bid on them. Another money make is to sell split club tickets and announce a winner each hour or so. The more they drink the more they’ll buy and half the profits are yours.
